The Fast and The Furriest 2024
In consideration of participating in the Benton Franklin Humane Society (BFHS) The Fast and The 
Furriest Annual Fun Run. I,   (Participants Name), on behalf of myself, and for my respective 
heirs, personal representatives and assigns, agree as follows:

Assumption of Risk: I acknowledge, agree, and represent that I am aware of and assume the many 
risks associated with participating in and event involving other animals, including but not limited 
to the risks of being bitten, scratched, jumped on, knocked over, chased, tripped, infected with a 
disease, or otherwise injured or frightened, as well as the risks of damage to personal property 
and that BFHS cannot guarantee me or anyone else what type of temperament the animals I am around 
may have, and that I am not an agent of the BFHS, and that I hereby accept responsibility for the 
animal(s) I am bringing.
Release and Waiver: I hereby RELEASE, WAIVE, DISCHARGE and COVENANT NOT TO SUE the BFHS, its 
employees, agents, members, directors, officers, or any affiliated entities thereof, and each of 
them, their officers and employees (collectively, the “Releasees”), from and for any liability 
resulting from any personal injury, accident or illness (including death) and/or property loss, 
however caused, arising from, or in any way related to, The Fast and The Furriest Fun Run BFHS is 
hosting.

I HAVE READ THIS AGREEMENT, RELEASE AND WAIVER OF LIABILITY, ASSUMPTION OF RISK AND INDEMNITY 
AGREEMENT, FULLY UNDERSTAND ITS TERMS, UNDERSTAND THAT I HAVE GIVEN UP SUBSTANTIAL RIGHTS BY 
SINGING IT, AND HAVE SIGNED IT FREELY AND VOLUNTARILY WITHOUT ANY INDUCEMENT, ASSURANCE, OR 
GUARANTEE BEING MADE TO ME AND INTEND MY SIGNATURE TO BE A COMPLETE AND UNCONDITIONAL RELEASE OF 
ALL LIABILITY TO THE GREATEST EXTENT ALLOWED BY LAW.
